Cliff'S Hostel - La Gruta

Always go to my fav spot. The helpful staff found my forgotten headphones. Got everything I need: Wi-Fi, kitchen, AC, laundry, TV room. Perfect for romantic escape. Can't resist coming back.

I recently stayed at Cliff's Hostel in Bocas town for a few days and it was perfect! The location was great, just a 3-minute walk from the center, making it a bit quieter at night. The hostel had a fantastic rooftop terrace and chillout area, with a free pool table and a well-equipped kitchen. The showers had hot water and the best part was being able to make your own pancakes in the morning with the provided flour mix. The hostel also offered a walking tour through the jungle to some amazing beaches. The staff, including Katyana, Carolina, and Manuel, were incredibly friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place to anyone passing through or needing a few days of rest in Bocas town.

We had a great experience staying at Cliff's hostel in Bocas town. Cliff, the owner, was incredibly nice and helpful. He even arranged a fantastic tour for us to Zapa Island, which we highly recommend. the double bed in our room was extremely comfortable, and the air conditioning was a lifesaver in the humid island weather. We also enjoyed the Netflix room with its cozy sofa. On top of everything, Cliff has the cutest dog! the hostel itself was clean and had good showers. There were plenty of chill spots, including a rooftop with a great view. the location was perfect, with the local marine and the central area of Bocas town nearby. the interior was well-designed, and the wifi worked well. We especially appreciated being able to make pancakes for breakfast. we highly recommend Cliff's hostel to anyone passing through Bocas town or in need of a few days of rest.

The value for money at this hostel was great, and the room was comfortable. The location was quieter but still close to everything I needed, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The only thing that could have made the breakfast better was adding more variety to the offerings.

cliff's hostel in la gruta surpassed all expectations during our stay. the place was clean, well-maintained, and had bonus features like a pool table and tv. we were impressed by the working smoke detectors, which were lacking in other places we stayed in panama.

Mind-blowing staff, super comfy double bed, jaw-dropping air conditioning, amazing terrace, delicious pancake breakfast!

I keep coming back for the friendly staff who helped me with early check-in. This place suits me perfectly with Free Wi-Fi, shared kitchen, AC, laundry, leisure room. Can't wait to be back for Christmas!

The double room was cozy and comfortable, with a shared bathroom just down the hall. The flat-screen TV had lots of cable channels, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. We loved the homely feel and it was ideal for a budget-friendly stay.

Personally, we would have preferred a private bathroom, but hey, others might not mind!

We had a last-minute cancellation on Airbnb and Cliff saved us, even late at night! The hostel is in a great location, just a few minutes' walk from the center, and yet it's still quiet at night. The rooftop terrace and chillout area were fantastic, and we loved playing pool for free. The showers had hot water, which was a bonus. The staff were incredibly friendly and the kitchen was well-equipped. We also enjoyed making our own pancakes in the morning with the provided mix. a great place to stay in Bocas town!
